Audience Profile for Anomalous

Here is our audience profile for our film Anomalous.

 This is the audience who will come view at the cinema & buy the DVD once released so it is vital to aim the film specifically at them. The age ranges from 15-50 yrs. We have decided for our film to be certified at 15.

Our film targeted at both sexes and we hope the film is enjoyed and engaging for both male and female.

15 age rating is the perfect age. We can still use the theme and the violence we want to portray and do not have to limit our audience to 18 and over. 

ABC1 is the demographic the film is aimed at. These are also the groups of social economic class that buy into the cinema tickets, DVD and other merchandise products leading from the film.

There are many horror film enthusiasts we hope to want to watch Anomalous and to be engaged in the film. However we really hope to entice and excite the audience group who usually don't watch horror films. We hope with our gripping plot and usual never before done story line to hook these people into watching this film. The promotion ie trailer  poster and you tube video's therefore will engage and promote this film to target at these people that are not usually pulled in by the horror film genre. 

Examples of our audience-

A family of 3- Mum of 45 Dad of 50 and son of 16 in the ABC1 Demographic going to see a film together. Suitable for all members of this family 

A group of young men all 18 and love watching horror to scare and frighten them.

A mixed group of young people all go to watch a film online with a plot that they haven't heard of before. They are attracted to the young male protagonist and are engaged by the trailer's seen on social networking sites including Twitter and Facebook. Intrested by the supernatural sub genre after seeing films like Parnomal Activity.
