The importance of Sound in our horror opening

Sound in the horror film genre is a very important convention & a key technique used to scare and unsettle an audience. So for our film this was very important to consider.

We brainstormed by in class together putting down ideas of sounds and then finding the correct, effective and realistic sounding clips on various free sound websites.

Chloe then drew the brainstorm again to create a clearer more organised layout that would be easy to reference back to.

Once chosen & looking back after the completion of the editing, choosing the sound files and saving them into a folder help insert them quickly and effectively.
Even if some clips did have to be altered to create a more professional and realistic sound.
