Horror films rely on unsettlings and upsetting the audience creating a portrayal of their biggest nightmares are fears. Horror film genre's often overlap into hybrids and can be identitfied into 10 main sub genres of horror.
The 9 main horror sub-genre's
Here is a voice recording of myself defining and describing the main horror sub genre's there are
For each sub genre i have given an example of a film that fits with the sub genre.

I found this website Chirbit- Very useful for uploading voice recordings. However i had some problems when i recorded myself on my phone it saved as a .3ga film so i had to convert the file into a mp3 by using a converting site then uploaded and embed via chirbit. A great way to present my work i think!
Check this out on Chirbit
